Forecast for wind and weather for Wednesday, July 9.

The approaching front did provide a reasonable wind in the morning to be active on the lake. But then came the rain, and that was the end of the wind.

So what will happen tomorrow Wednesday? Environment Canada’s forecast indicates that the rain should stop by early morning. However, chance of rain persist throughout the day. The temperature difference between the coast and inland is expected to be 6C, 14C at the coast, 20C inland. In my opinion, because of the lingering rain we will have a light wind day, similar to Tuesday afternoon.

Bottom line: Everything is possible, but I am doubtful that we will have a consistent wind on Wednesday. Maybe a gentle breeze and the occasional flare up to a moderate breeze.

Outlook: Thursday, Friday and Saturday look good with a sunny sky and wide temperature differences between the coast and inland.
