| Details | Took one for the crew and volunteered to be the first to head out on a windless beach and do a long swim to get out past the point. More westerly breeze meant the wind was having a hard time forming near to shore. Dan and Brian soon followed. Things went from just breezy to gusty with big, well-formed sets out above the islands. Oh yeah, I could be the first rider to put a KT Dragonfly Ginxu 2 right through the sheet of a KT 5m wing while tipping off a wave. Long swim back'lol.
