| Details | With yesterday's RB fake-cast, I decided to jump on the actual light wind at IV. Arrived to 10-13kts and no one around. Looked good so rigged the 6.0m as the 7.0m is a lot of work and my body was fairly tired from last nights 2 hours of Wing-schlog. Anyways, got out and was foiling right away in the light winds and didn't really come off the foil the whole session. It felt natural and easy and fast. I like the Wing-Thing, but the Windsurf foil still has it's merits like I know how to do it and don't get wet and don't schlog. The Wing will get there but it's not there yet so I like getting back on what I know and also getting some in some km's. Docker joined me after about an hour when it cranked up (ha-ha) to 10-14kts and the pumping was not needed any longer. I had to pull the plug as I had a drinks scheduled at the inlaws. Feeling better about life again after getting some fast foiling in. Back at the Wing-thing again tomorrow hopefully. BOBSON OUT!! [from Session Log on Saturday April 06, 2024] |
