Looking for US fin box

Want to put a US box in a supertanker to act as a centreboard for the kids to learn with. Anyone got one lying around? or an old board that I could cannibalize? Preferably mid-island area. Thanks much. D.

I can't believe it. RD had the most buoyant attitude, and exuberant love of this sport and community. That glint-eyed smile ... I'll miss you brother. Bean.

I check the mm5 wind model obsessively and compulsively - even when there is no chance of wind - it's that good.

Sweet, I love the simplicity. But it reminds me that I have a piece of 6" PVC that I used to have on my rack for masts. If anyone wants to pimp-out their trailer / moho with a big white bazooka it's free for the taking (comes with brackets, clip-on end cap, and likely a few slugs and spiders).

my method: make a loop in the downhaul using a bowline (bunny comes out of the hole, around the tree and back down the hole) and wrap the loop around your wrist - no gear to loose and easy on the fingers. I also recommend the downhaul pulley if your sail doesn't have one.

I prefer the south route to the lake: 1hr paved, 1hr gravel, less if you're psycho. The northern route feels longer to me and there are the off-road logging trucks.

Piper's is nice 5.5 - 6.5 with rolling swell most of the time and a few times a summer it cranks with big crumbly port ramps.

Hope to ...

The lates issue of BOARDS (the 1st of my subscription!) has a 400 & 460 mast megatest. I haven't read it yet but if you know Boards you know that they are the most thorough testers out there. I'd pick up a copy if you want to delve into the details. D.
