Re: Latest in Wetsuits - what to buy?
I have been using/testing the ION 6/5 hooded Seek Amp the last couple winters. Great suit at the price point ($500 range). Easily 2 seasons. Made for cold Northern winter wind-sports in Europe. I have taken it prone surfing. Might not be as flexible as the top O'Neil suit, but great for winging/kiti...

More research needed Will ex-windsurfers reuinte with their poles to dance at the sea star? sea star regressed to former 2014 dingy status, thus still hung over from Natty lights Does freedom still only cost a buck O' five? We are at $5.45...

Re: KT Wing Air
So far I have been super happy with KT Wings. Lots of positive feed back. Looks like tomorrow (May 23) We will be headed to Victoria. If any wants to demo a wing, we plan to be at Ross Bay in the afternoon. We also just received the new KT Wing Drifter and Goya Airbolts. I will have the all new 72L ...

Re: Pumping questions
Coming from freeride and more surfy side of windsurf/wing foiling vs racing, I would say 1400-1800 mid aspect front wind on a foil would definitely help in way lighter winds. Plus being able to pump and surf wind swell requires less effort on a lower aspect foil. Board shape helps too. The foil-only...

Typically the bolts come with the foil. That being said, Some T-nuts out there are made for mast tracks or long US boxes(ones that come with slingshot foils) will not slide into the more modern foil track boxes made futures(nuts being too wide) I can send you the right ones for your Quatro Wing Drif...

Give it time. A friend (160 lbs) with zero foil experience learned to ride a 90L in 3 reaches and then went straight to a 70L sinker with no issues, maybe an hour total TOW. The key was having someone show him where to put his feet to get the foil balanced (this is soooo critical) and plenty of win...

Re: Just ask Nanmoo.
If E-foils get cheap and transport canada approved it will be the end of wings because why would you need one. Clearly you haven't tried Wing-Rollerblading yet. The question is why go through the trouble learning to foil on water when there is instant fun on land via roller blades? (asking for a fr...

Ya it was an Ion Strike Element. Any local (Victoria) shops to support or just order from online windsurf shops? I would say warranty it from who you bought it from. I would not recommend the element grade ION to anyone. Core, Amp or Select. I can order in and drop ship ION. Their close-out deals o...

Is this all still relevant for wetsuit brands? Xcel, Ripcurl? My 5/4 Ion from about 6 months back is on track for a 6 month lifespan... =D> Not really up for stitching much. what one did you get? My ION Onyx select is the most bomber winter suit i have ever had. The ION element editions are cheap a...

Hey Jesse, go south of PR/Westview on Sunshine Coast Hwy about 8km to Black Point Rd, head down to ocean or about 1km further south to Donkersly Beach at end of Donkersly Rd, both can be good on strong W, NW coming down Malaspina Strait, there's often strong westerly thermal if weather is good. Mig...
