If I didn't live so far away, I'd let you see how well they carve. Like the blurb about them says.. they're really smooth when they return to centre.

well, on mine the wheels are 5" apart from each other and about 7" from tip to tip of the trucks (which are inset from the outside of the wheels). The wheels are 75mm across.

Skatesailing is too much fun for words! I can't imagine not jumping to switchstance though. I DO wear a helmet and kneepads. Mostly, if you think you're going to wipeout, just throw the rig. (I put the elbox pads on the clew and the boom/mast). The best thing about my Exkate board and trucks is the ...

Thanks, that helps alot :) I had to go to 'town' to find a decent enough map to check out the spots you mentioned.... Sounds exciting! I wonder if trying to carry the kayak on top of 2 boards on the roof racks will work?? So many toys to bring, so little a vehicle!

Well, I guess what I found so fun about the skateboardsailing I did (totally kooked out with safety gear by the way) was that it was in a small paved turnaround. It wasn't about going fast in a reach or anything, it was about getting enough speed to jibe, then switchstance helitack, then 360 then in...

The wind seems like the most important consideration  Eric Sanford writes in the new Windsurfing Mag that Jan-Mar and June to Aug are the best wind months in the DR. He also writes its way to much fun there! Canyoneering is supposed to be amazing! We're talkin Cabarete... Have you thought abou...

I sailed from the south side off the highway. Theres a pullout with windsock and a windsurfer memorial. Monk is really nice, but sorta small. It was gusty allright! But in a fun way... http://www.weatheroffice.ec.gc.ca/city/pages/bc-33_metric_e.html is a forecast for Lytton, they say to wa...

Sailed Nicola yesterday... OP 4.7! Nice big swells (4ft+).. warm water. Gotta love it. They SAY if its about 6° diff between coast and Merrit... it can blow. I don't sail there enough to be sure.
