Exciting stuff Dave - looks good. Honestly I have no idea how to vote but I go for the Tweezer option too.

Interesting thanks Chris. Looking forward to seeing what they come up with. Some really interesting different ideas coming out in various 2021/22 models.

Anyone tried OR gen 1 wings or prototypes?

Has anyone tried the OR wings yet? Or prototypes? I think I read that Winddoc has been on one. I gather from OR that they are intending to sell their higher end Allula wing for about double standard Dacron wing prices!! Holy crap they'd better be good for those $$$! I can't imagine spending almost ...

Use of teflon tape for foil screws

Hey so what are folks views about using plumbing teflon tape for foil screws? I saw the MAC Kite dude using them in one vid. Help to prevent/minimize corrosion/binding or not?

Interesting to read everyone's input. Unfortunately haven't touched the wing since late July as it really flamed up some elbow tendinitis (different cause) but confident I will be back out there this spring/summer after a solid winter of rehab. I had a handful of midsummer sessions out in RB and ...

My bet is that the first 2-3 finishers take another 2-3 days off the Vendee time record.

It will be interesting to see how fast the new foiled hulls go in the upcoming Vendee Globe. Go Alex Thomson! (Hugo Boss).

I think this is a reasonable compromise - the better you are the cooler you get to make the sport sound. And for the record I am still definitely wing dinging. The seizure stage 2 describes me perfectly. Except I am currently missing exactly 100% of my transitions.

Check forum for some great discussion threads

JDR: almost my exact same question from a few months ago - check the Windsurfing discussion forum for some great discussion threads here.

One is titled "Wingfoiling" (Windsurfing discussion) and the other "schawing" (rigging area). You'll get lots of answers in there - I did!

Good to know

Good to get an update on this. Thanks. Might be something that the increasingly popular RBFC crew may need to pay attention to. I have taken to leaving my board bag, car keys, etc on the beach while on the water. May need to reevaluate that.
