Re: Nitnat Lake
Easiest is the reverse walk - walk up to the river and launch there. Make sure you come back just below the old boat launch in that bay. Or use the stump as your reference.
The walk from below the last point is awful - no real way to get back without walking through the village or swimming gear ...

I have always been a van fan. My neighbour has a Honda Element and loves it . Check them out. You can hose down the interior, apparently.

Re: Windfoil/Wingfoil compatibility
Frankenfoil (board as well as foil) setups can work, but they require more work and strain. And you can never be sure that your lack of success is the setup or just that you are shitty!

Re: Windsurf Foiling Discussion
Markus, I am happy to try your gear out and see how it feels. I think having a person who can do it well try the gear will help get it dialed in quicker - a few guys have helped me out this way.

Hey folks, anyone getting rid of their Omen Flux 72?
I have the 84 and want the 72 for Mrs Tempy and hoping someone is moving “ down” and ready to give up their 72.
Cheers
Stephen

And if you could stop in Nanaimo and pick up an inflatable wing board ( deflated in bag) , I would appreciate that as well, and chip in!

Re: 2021 Nitinaht road reports
The road is very good. Traffic has also calmed to normal flow now that Highway 4 is (partially) open. I had to laugh at the "toilets 400m ahead" sign just before the Nitinaht T intersection. Who wants to pee in a stinky, smelly, hot plastic cubicle when there is acres of forest around!

Re: 2021 Nitinaht road reports
The Cameron Lake Bluff fire is diverting all traffic via the Youbou / NN turnoff route and that will make for some interesting traffic on the road. It is actually closed now for vehicle recovery:

Re: Windsurf Foiling Discussion
Thanks guys. I have the original H2 as well and it sits on a shelf - Infinity 76 is far superior. The smaller H5 advantage is smaller wing for higher wind - the H2 gets / got squirrely in any kind of wind.

Re: Windsurf Foiling Discussion
I did an interesting and productive experiment over the weekend.
I have been running the infinity 76 on my Roberts Frankenfoilboard (6') and have it pretty dialed in.
On the weekend I put the H5 (I think that is it) front wing on the short kite fuselage (essentially the kitefoil setup).
