Update:
The Helmet made it back to Canada and showed up at Nitinaht lake last weekend for a day of perfect 4.7 conditions. Inspiring Many. The small ramps and chop made it hard to want to pull the trigger and loop, but one windsurfer showed no fear. With his multiple back loop attempts Windsurf247 takes the golden prize and wore it with pride as he got back out on the water and attempted a few more!

Golden Helmet stays in PA!
Well, the back loop bug has hit PA. I had the pleasure of passing on the Golden Helmet to PA Mike last weekend at Nimpkish.
I sail with Mike a lot in PA and he's a solid sailor eventually nailing most things he tries. I had no idea he was working on back loops until he hucked one right in front of me off a sweet big ramp at Nimpkish Apparently, he'd been trying them for the previous few days.
With his persistence and determination, I'm sure he'll be landing them in no time. Way to go Mike
