A frontal system will track across area waters today.
Sustained winds are to remain below advisory criteria but can't rule
out isolated wind gusts near SCA for the coastal waters and East
Strait. Nevertheless, a SCA remains in effect over the coastal
waters for seas. Additional disturbances will traverse the area for
both Monday and Tuesday. Brief high pressure second half of
Wednesday into Thursday before the next area of low pressure enters
Thursday night.
Seas increasing to 10-11 ft today, starting at the outer coastal
waters first this morning. Seas are to remain elevated around 9-10
ft through Tuesday before easing to around 5 to 7 ft on Wednesday
and Thursday.

How long have the little popups with stats and links been on here? Day count since your last session, or a link to your windiest session ever (apparently Dec 23, 2010 for me, interesting read), most used bit of kit and other random things! Its a fun addition!
Downwinding as in either SUP paddling up onto foil, and going DW or using a Parawing to get up onto foil and going DW with chute packed away then redeploying and doing laps back UW. This is all focused around chasing bumps going DW, not mowing the lawn/freeriding.

As per the latest update, the technician responsible for the Ballenas station is on leave. Trying to work on a solution to charge the station if coast guard unable to do so. The estimated time to get station back online is by end of April.

The Ballenas weather station has been defunct for almost four months and is key for nautical safety in our strait. Can someone please repair? I was told by DFO it belongs to coastguard. Coastguard tells me it's Environments.
How about everyone that was lucky enough to get out on/over the water today, logs their session..?? If 10 people post their session today, I’ll donate $100 to BWD tomorrow.
