Quick after work sesh just before dark. Wind was barely enough to get me to rig when I arrived at the North launch. By the time I was rigged it was a bit windier, couple minutes of sloggging at the beginning before a great light air ride. Rode the big Sab 1100 for the first time in months, forgot how much lift it has, breached on the first couple gybes.

I got an early start. Just a couple of windsurfers out. Wind was much lighter than forecast. Had a 3 hr early session and a 1 hr sunset session. Very quiet on the water. I guess everyone was waiting for the big wind. Excellent day for me today. Nice big swells to play in. The wind did pickup a bit in the afternoon.

Gorgeous session with Idefix, GregCan, and Tuna. Saw Bobson in the distance piling up the CP kms. Powered up nicely for consistent foiling with only occasional holeyness. Not much of the usual Willows gusts, likely due to the SE winds. Tried hard to keep up with the other foilers, but my big foil and limited skill kept my speed moderate. It was swelly and messy enough to make jibes more challenging than usual. Remarkably warm with even some sunshine and we missed the rain.

Grabbed the summer wetsuit *%#*!!! If cold plunges twice a week are good for you, this session should do me to 2030! Sweet session with H-Rock, Greg and Tuna. Model 2 was a bit late but I think we got the best of it. Sunshine, 15kts with just enough swell to make it fun.

Got a quick 1hr session after work. Balmy conditions, no gloves! Tested out a new board I picked up for my daughters to get winging on (Indiana, 5'8 128l) and was really impressed with the build quality and performance. Popped up really fast (lotsa volume!), felt way smaller than specs and felt really solid underfoot (carbon sandwich construction). Could really carve S-turns with no issues as it has quite beveled rails. It's going to be an awesome learner board and progression into intermediate too!

Headed to Willows, looked light waited 10 mins and looked like it was picking up at CP so headed back there, past Docker on the street and yelled out the window I'm headed to CP. Got to CP and it looked great, 8-13kts with good gusts, then Docker showed up and we rigged up the 6.0's. He had a DW pencil shaped board and I had a barn door. A surprise bonus wind day with Idefix. The conditions mellowed to below traumatizing, so I took the shot. The stiff onshore, plus swell pushed us to use 6m. There was little to no lift for me in the bay. But, once I got out to the MTI level where Idefix was playing, it was on! Pretty good oomph with just a little pull by just riding from CP to MTI. I tried to keep up with him, but that was wishful winging. Lots of post-foiling war stories from Idefix about him combatting Maiu-ian tiger sharks...

After that extended arctic pause, felt good to be back on the water.
Swell was surprisingly large considering how light and shifty the wind was.

First quick session in East Honolulu. Found some fun swells either side of the channel. Sailed with a couple locals. Met Janna, and Jeff, and Manfred was just heading out when I returned. Unusual wind direction for this spot. China walls was just over to the SE. Found the spot only because I saw wings rigging.

Arrived to a light wind scene with many bobbing in the bay. Unusually Warm!! Waited and chatted with everyone and it eventually came in strong enough for the 4m! A quick fun session about 30 minutes then began to die off so skidaddled back to the beach. Chatted some more and then it eventually came back enough for the 5.5m. Another fun session, called it early after about another 30 min. Lots of peeps out today!!

I didn't brace the cold the last few weeks so nice to get out again. Think I found the right mast and foot placement to make the 275 tail rippable. Rode out off Cattle for the majority because there were a good amount of wings out. Nice to see folks and go for a rip.

Super fun Willows session. Got there and it was a solid 18-20 kts. Had about 30 - 40 mins and it died, so chatted in the parking lot with a few of the RBFC. Could see it building on the outside and it came back nicely. Great times chasing a few peeps around - sorry if I got to close. Winddoc seemed to be the only one to be down for a drag race! Guy is fast af - suuper fast, couldnt catch him. Be fun to organize a little race some day... have not foiled 30kms in awhile, so freaking tired.

Arrived and CB was already on the water with his foil, decided to rig the 7m (to test out the rip repair) and head out. Was a little underpowered at times and it took me a bit to get my feet underneath me after the long break. Warmer than expected, no rain and it was a good time sharing the water with Clive.

Arrived at 10:30am to find parking lot 3/4 full with the smell of Bacon and Eggs wafting from the Kiwanis Tea House. Rigged up the 4.5m Sailworks Flyer as it was 14-18kts and looking like it was getting stronger. Well it wasn't. I got a good 20 mins then it died. I started coming back to the beach after trying for 20 mins but it wasn't there.
