Hit it better this trip with ULR. A few RBFCers (idefix, rupdog, rblocal, MF4, junky) attending with some locals as well. DavidM, Adrian ( BWD, Adrian sends hugs again), Juan and Luz, SamJ plus a couple more I didn't meet. Great crowd. Some nice swelling goin' on there today. Broke my board leash in the last hour. Was getting a little sketchy trying to catch the board, so called it.

More fantastic foiling at Pipers with MtnarG, Idefix, Ruppdog, and Bobson. 8/10 conditions with easy lifts with a 4m. Stayed in the bay and worked on gybes, but still too chicken to try a tack. Occasionally played with the big boys on the outside. Test rode (flew?) a 95L Stinger inflatable. Excellent board, stiff, with minimal stickiness or response mushiness. Super maneuverable once aloft. Sadly, too small for my limited skills and lazy technique.

Favourable forecast on both models and 20kts at Entrance Island. 08:00 arrived to an empty parking lot, the old pine humming to a lesser forecast and no fins anywhere :/ ? I rigged big for a first reach hoping it would pick up, sailed past Clark Rf and got to the promised yellow 20s. Amazing!! arrived at 10am and saw Danno out and saw his post saying he was overpowered on his 5m so went back out on his 4m. Rupp and RBLocal showed up and HighRocker a couple mins later. One Run Too Many! How do you stop when you think the wind is going to die but there's wind at that moment? Hit 7000kms travelled this year so far today. YAY!! Anyways, I saw some gusts in the Willows Poop cam so scooted out of work and headed to CP. Arrived at 4pm and saw some 10-12kt gusts of wind. I got a bit excited and forgot to give an OSR. Sorry. Anyways, on the water by 4:12pm and schlogged a couple mins to find a gust and get going. Fun day. Rigged a 5.0 but never got to use it. Good steady wind most of the session on a 5.8. Towards the end of the session got blown off the water with the 5.8 so went in to get the 5.0. By the time I was ready with the 5.0 wind dropped. The wind got flukey after that. Picked up again for Alex and Hajo 4:30 til dark.

I was all ready to stay local until I got the swell alert when RR hit 37g43. Got to RB to see some great swell but dropping wind...classic. I was prepped when the wind started cranking at around 3 o'clock. Truck was packed and ready to go. It was definitely 4 metre conditions when I got there but I decided to take a 5 m out just in case things were temporary. Sure enough things started to drop off fairly quickly but I got some great turns in and a rainbow appeared so life is good! Some surprisingly good swell just as things started to drop off. Short and sweet.

First sail in weeks. Showed up and it was cranking offshore. Went out on the 3.5 and it was fun for 20 mins, till it rapidly started dropping. Limped in and grabbed the 5m. Only had an hour so schlogged back out and popped up and mowed the lawn for about 30 mins in just enough wind. Looked to be picking up as I left. Great rainbow tho :)

I was initially at Esq Lagoon when the front came in and the 30kt offshore gusts quickly made me run away with my tail between my legs to Willows where Paul and GMan said there were foilable winds. There was barely enough for my limited skills. GMan and Paul were getting occasional foils. That should have told me to go with my biggest wing. Regardless, there was lots of pumping needed to get up and stay up. Still nice to get out with the OGs! I detected no poo sign but then I have 3rd world roots.

Arrrived late and was suprised to see more wind than expected and the ws crew fully powered. Rigged 5.0 and was going to take wave board but by the time I was ready the wind looked to be dropping a bit. Took the Firemove instead. Fun 1/2 hour and then it was finished. Early birds made out much better!!!

Arrived to big wind on outside as the front had just arrived and was moving by. Chose the 4m and good thing as it continually dropped in wind strength until i schlogged back in to see if it would rebuild. It was fun with some big swell for the 22 minutes (gps).

Struggled to make a decision on wing size. Forecast was for 6.5m, conditions when it filled in were 4m, but logic was 5m. Went with 5m in the middle but no wing was the right choice today. Got going and a little while later saw a wall of white on the water in the inlet so braced for impact. Survival for a while. As forecasted the system quickly rolled through mid-morning and clocked SW. Good timing was paramount. First on the water at 3rd Ave with 8m+surfboard in SSE 18-22. Excellent waist high waves upwind of the boat launch for almost an hour of toe side wave rides. :D

exhausting session- started on the 6m in light wind, started to gust harder, fought back upwind to the truck, pumped up the 5m, lasted 15 minutes then gusts harder, fought back upwind, got the 4m, a few minutes on that and now I was spent. Still fun though.
