Classic gorge day at the hatch. Thermal low passed by and it cranked 3.5-4.0. biggest swell I have ever seen (@ the Hatch). It was like a hair dryer out there...32-33C and crankin'. Another good day tomorrow...hopefully.

Carbon copy of yesterday except no 7.5. Went upwind on the 6.0 and 121 and chased Roger and Oerst aroiund for about an hour. It was fairly marginal 6.0 conditions but woth a little pumping could get it on a plane every reach. At about 3 the wind cranked up and I switched to the KOMBAT 95 and 5.3. Got in a short ½ hour on the 121 and 6.0 in my bathing suit at 600 after the wind died. Is this Maui? HOT HOT HOT!! Good company on the beach for late evening wine sipping and conversation. The body felt a little numb today after a 7 hour drive and lots of jet lag. Sweet session with Morewind, TheLaw and MikeC. Really gusty at first then it mellowed a bit and the waves smoothed out a little.

Perfect wind, starting to truly figure out the One Kite. Sandra went out first, held on no problem to the 12! Would have been perfect 10 for me on the old kite, ger was out on the 10. The kite easily replaces the 10, 12, and 14. Came closer to sucess with the relauch, but I need to work on my technique.

Holy Smokes!! Got to Oceanside early, swell was big and waves crashing were a little overwhelming. Rigged the 6.0m as the wind hadn't kicked up yet. Took a hit of RedBull and headed out. Made it past the shorebreak and ripped out over some super big swell. Made a couple of runs out and back but stayed outside the impact zone. This was a huge day! I would have to say one of the biggest days of my sailing career. The outside was well over-head and some pushing logo+ high. Huge jumps and some big rides. BWD met up wth us and shook the jet lag by the end of the first wave. MikeC was ripping when we hit the water... can that guy shutvit! Big move of the day for me was the full plane into the sandbar! Crazy first Oregon Coast sesssion. Huge(for me) waves, cold water, lots O wind. Rigged up and saw MW and The Law and gang as I was heading down to the beach with my sail. Waited on the beach for 15 mins while I got up the guts to go out. Sailed out without getting pounded in the shorebreak then looked back and all of a sudden I was waaaaay out and thought better get back. Fell on my jibe and had trouble waterstarting. Niole and I decided to hit Nimpkish after seeing the sattelite image of a big hairy fog bank sitting up in Mcneil. Arrived at 3 to a nice 4.7 wind but a massive wind shadow. we should have probably gone up to Kinman Crk for Nicole's sake. Fun 4.7 but then the wind backed off a bit to moderate 4.7. Stuck a few moves and did some soul sailing. Love that place.

Should have rigged the 6.65 but got a new personal best at 57.0 km/h on the 5.9 when the wind came up a knotch at 2:30. Felt the need to tighten down the none adjustible foot straps and shorten the harness lines to keep it under control in the chop.
