Good to see mwind BWD roadcrew back in town & the usual suspects. Played alone at Clover in break for 1/2 hr w/no friends :( decent waves way out. Still don't have a clue what to do in midmegaair, need a move, man....like a stalled forward or somethin' Sail 6 Wave 7 Jump 6+ 8) SUN

Short session, tried barefoot but couldn't seem to do anything, board too slippy, couldn't push on it hard enough, no confidence. Nice once in straps. Too bad, because swell was great on outside. Wind OK at first, went light.

Holy :!: - Kook in August :D Everyone having loads of fun. Kus sailing about 90km/hr - blowing by me. Don and TheLaw eating up the swell. BWD flaunting textbook upwind 360s. Mellow for me - lack of suitable ramps kept the hate under wraps. Had some good helis, and a couple of in-the-swell 360s.

    4.00 hours Starboard Carve 80
    Ezzy SE Wave 5.2
After a late start due to some quality sauna time the night before, hit the 5.2 right off the bat. Started off gusty but soon filled in. Good end to the perfect week. Met a tonne of great people along the way. Now if it wasn't for these f$#@&%g ferries! Got off the water at 3:30pm and I'm crawling into bed at 2:00am. There's something very wrong with this.

    smooth swell steep ramps
    2.00 hours Naish Wave Hybrid 85 7'0"
    Ezzy Wave SE 5.8
Waited for the wind to pick up, had a couple false starts, then it finally came up. Egged BWD on to try the Naish during the last session while I rode his RRD. I think I had a bit too much fun on Dave's board. Sorry Dave, I couldn't help myself  . I promise, none of my landings were very hard. Fun to finally sail with Tom again in the swell and see him ripping. Mike was hucking some nice loops in the fog.
