First time sailing there. Always nice to try out a new place. Warm water in the bay. Not a bad spot to sail. The wind is on shore on a south easter. Not sure if any other wind direction would work in the bay. Only problem I found were clumps of sea weed that got hung up in my blade fin. I'd recommend a weed or (swept wave) fin for this spot.

after getting skunked all week with rain squalls shutting down the nimpkish wind machine i checked out woss lake on a hunch - thursday it was capping but not enough for my 5.9 but friday was perfect. I launched on the east side by some cabins. a but gusty with rain squalls but very fun. got some vulcans, 360s and a heli tack or two. had to quit when some thunder started rumbling up the lake!

Winter conditions but summer hours - on the water at 6:00 am with some good 5.0 high tide Columbia conditions. It was great for half an hour then died off over the next hour. Would have rigged up if I had more time. A couple of good wave hits but no big tricks. Paul was kicking my ass out there!

WNW = almost impossible to launch. However, thanks to Eric, once off the beach, it was damn windy and loads of fun. Excellent time on the 12m Ocean Rodeo (love that kite) watching Grant, Rob, and Mike getting spectacular air. Grant (airtime) W. and Dwayner going off too as I came in- seems we were the only ones desperate/crazy/stupid enough to be kiting in the offshore wind. Wind definately better aloft than on the water.

Today looked much better than the last 3 days...wind took a while to build but eventually one could see caps below the log. Got on the water using the fanatic and 5.5 around 1:30 sailed solid until around 4:00 took a break and noticed wind slowing down so packed up to head home. Had a fun sail but still need more!

should have used a 9m, but managed to hold it together on a 14m(just). Really lifty air(some scary high jumps). the windsurfers were on 5.8-5m sails, so my only explanation for that much wind is that there must be signifigantly more wind up top. Most people were out on 8m and even one 6m, with a few 9 or 10s.

A longish day with OK 7.5 on the carve and beginning/ending on the go. Fought with underpowered sailing/bad technique with the 6.0 on new skinny mast. Need to figure out how to rig it ...... ~4 hrs on Go and ~3 hrs on the carve. Good company in camp MB/Azad.... and the smoky maple fires... I can still smell it - like a bacon factory... :)
