Kinda slow mellow day. Anyway at least now I know why [b:e81d569a2c]Morewind[/b:e81d569a2c] looked familiar first time we met.

A couple of duck jibes. Few good jumps, lots of eel grass!

Started out on the big board but after one run had to grab the little guy. The wind was in and out for the first hour but filled in nicely. Managed to get a couple more hours on the water before dropping off.

Moved to Rowena at 4:30. Rigged a 4.7 and hung on for dear life. Should have been on a flattened 4.2. The place was nukin. Thank god it was over after 45min. I was spent.

two sessions, first started out really slow than it picked way up. went back out for the tall ships at 7 and that was quite the session. aprox 2000 ppl along dallas rd, apparently watching the tall ships, but i think the kiters and windsurfers stole the show.

nice to be out with all the pole dudes.

Rigged up 5.5 went down sailed for about an hour on a small board, ugly crap (pardon my French) chop, lumps, strong current, I felt a little dizzy at first so I came in to get a big board. The wind was up and down. Unfortunately I had a later commitment(should be committed for having the commitment), so came in early. Very mellow, though the wind had some decent lift in the gusts. All in all, a nice sunny afternoon.

Did the afternoon shift, as had plans later. Odd day. Wind was punchy and wierd, then fun, then strange (WNW) , then great as I packed up and watched.. Full Frontal, not thermal, and I wish I could have stayed out longer. Lost the kite - reminder: get new Punch Out bar with spinning leash. THanks to Jan, the kite was saved, and to Colin for towing me in :!:

Finally came up enough to try it, doing the late thing. Wind way NW, kinda weird bubble near beach w/lots of lift 4 kites below Finlayson Pt.; got going pretty easily but no top end to hit rather largish ramps, some 3-4' ers would you believe; flew off a couple then had trouble just keeping rig in the water, couldn't access kiter flatwater bubble heaven but had some fun regardless. Sail 6 Wave 6 Jump 5

Weird powerful, yet slow going, the thing of freighters. Steadily dropped til I wondered if I'd ... (more)
