Wind less than the small board/sail combo hoped for, but still fun. Wind really gusty, speed I gave not including holes. Nice short session till a contact got washed out by spray, couldn't see the driftwood after that. Made most gybes, but none planed through - some biggish chop on the outside. Nice to see sail board outnumbering kites by about 8 to 1 (on the water). Kus said my Adagio was sad !

No too bad in the gusts. Found my own personal giant gust waay up in the voodoo chop so stayed there for a 1/2 hour. Too crazy to kite - a couple of people attempted but had problems.

The wind, she's been a tease.

baaaa baaaa. like a sheep or other creature of habit, I went to cook, should have gone to ross bay or made the trek to IV (but I only had an hour - family dinner). Instead, tried going out in light, onshore wind. At least others got offshore and had fun! Not sure this even counts as a session - hard work and shore break for most of it. :(

shoulda got there an hour earlier. First run on 5.8 was powered in straps, then next run had to pump, then next had to wait for a gust and pump, then try again, then slogged... Came in close to beach and tried heli-tacks and clew-first sailing, need more practice. Wind died and I should of gone home, but it then came up a little more westerly, I hoped it would strengthen tempted me to rig 7.5 - never got going .

Wind was 15kts(ish). rigged the HSM 8.0m and Formula with a 62cm fin....soooo much quicker than the 70cm fin. Got out and headed down to spit across from James Is playing with sailboats. Then swoosh back up to the campground south of IV launch...then over to south end of Sidney Is. where it got pretty choppy..2 to 3 ft.. for the formula it was choppy!! Came back broad reaching with my hair on FIRE  WO ... (more)

Nice day. Pulled an uncountable number of spins in the air and dove the kite straight into the water, pulling me straight down after it, like a kiteloop except with only a half rotation... anyway... landed in about 12 inches of water, smacked the side of my face on something hard and now I really do look like a chipmunk.... how fitting eh? ... anyway to top the session off, my kite was just hovering above me in neutral about half an hour later, and the entire main bladder just blew up... so that was cool... ... Oops! Should have gone 9M...Fun watching Trevor in the stratosphere. Inadvertant spin whilst in a holding pattern to land! The splat got their attention! Sorry to hear B.W.D. got his I pod & wallet ripped off..(If you find an I-pod in a pawn shop loaded with the Bee Gees & the Village People it's Dave's..pink protector) [img:879ea5c211]http://smileygenerator.us/pop/confused/ahhh.gif[/img:879ea5c211]

Powerful morning and cruising afternoon.... The wind was quite predictable in the morning session, but at\fternoon clouds dropped things down to cruising. I tried the 180L "aircraft carrier" (thanks Kus) and it jibed like an oil drum..... . Back out for some many km tacks (the length of a reach is decided by how long you'd like to sail, rather than the end of the water.....

    A good day! :D
