1st time Seatrend, made 1st 2 jibes :D then couldn't waterstart on 3rd, kept burying clew for 10-15 min. Found out need to start clearing from 1/2 way up mast. Seatrend way easier to sail in big chop than Adagio, can't wait for 5.0-4.5 conditions! 37kmph good for conditions

Long day on the water today,started at 8:00 a.m with Robby,both of us tried out the new Ocean Rodeo 14,was excellant.A good test,started out light just barely able to go at 10 knots or so,then the wind filled in,20 and gusting,kite was really smooth and stable,never had to touch my sheeting strap,was really lit up towards the end of the session.Going big,lots of lift in this kite,up,up and away!Loved it.Looking forward to the next session.

:D Sailed out of Ross Bay. 15 kts to start, long runs out downwind to outside edge of Trial Is. then back upwind to Clover Point. Picked up to 20 kts :shock: and I played chicken strap sailing for 45 more mins then packed it in when I couldn't hang on anymore :P . Adj. Outhaul is fantastic! :D

:o Started out as a nice 12m session practising jumps and turns.
Smooth water with a small westerly swell.
Ended with a gusts to 25kts.
Used the water for landing the kite (throw the bar!) rather than my lawn.
Walking up the beach rocks with the kite overhead in gusty conditions didn't seem the thing to do.

Good Time :D ! Good self-launch in windshadow of cliff. Toeside wave riding -slalom style on swell. Note: put leash on RIGHT hand nextime so toeside form isn't restricted. 2 big jumps just totally out of control landing on broad reach. ' Controlled jumping remains a mystery.

Session from 5-6:30pm was not too good - lots of confused chop. Then after ~6:30pm it cleaned up and was as good or better then Monday's swell. Great jumping and riding for about 45 mins. 5 back loop attempts (no chance/must look over shoulder).
Why Sun crap, Mon good, Tues good > 7pm? Mon slack/switch to ebb 6pm, Tues slack ~7pm?
