Startet on my 12m Kite. Very overpowered. After some wild landing of the kite and untangling of my lines got back out with my 10m and hade a great season, with some sharks swimming around me. Came back in to self land, but some nice dude stolen my gear for the self landing. Great! Lucky the wind died of for a second and Kite fell out of the sky.

Not feeling so good today but couldn't pass on the wind. Took an advil and on the water just as peak wind was coming in. Rigged the 5.4. Powered to a little overpowered near the end of session. Could of used a smaller board but found a calmer patch of seas on the leeward side of Hudson Rocks. One really nice speed crash and bails trying to be more aggressive in the jibes. Loads of fun but not much energy in the tank.

Arrived to 10kts maybe. I wanted some so I rigged up the 7.0m Flyer 'session saver'. By the time I was on the water it was a solid 10-12kts. Foiled right away. Tide was fairly low and going out so wanted to ensure I was foiling over the sandbar. A very enjoyable 2 hours of speed foiling. If I knew there was going to be that much wind I would have put on the 800cm2 front foil but decided on the 1100cm2 to ensure foiling time. In the 2nd hour it picked up to 15kts ish. The wind came earlier and harder than expected so I grabbed my 4m and headed to the beach. By the time I arrived it was back down to 15 knots at best. It made for a real challenge to get/stay on foil. The highlight, though, is the water temp is now 20 degrees and I'm out in board shorts. Can I really complain?

Got out as it increased. Sailed with Gus towards Brotchie Ledge passing by JW, CB and JDog on kite foils at Cook. Then the wind sagged. Waited for 15-20 doing a spinnaker run until some pressure came back. Pumped back up and home.

Model was consistent West and trees were moving a bit at home so went to go see if it would work in Pat Bay. Waited for 30 mins and it dropped from about 8 to about 6. But decided to get out for a sail anyways. Picked up to 10ish 10 mins later and pumped up on foil ' all thanks to the new progressive rear foil which for the first time I can actually feel thrust from the foils when pumping board. Lot of work to get up but once up the 6.5m was powered enough to power upwind.

Went for a quick session after work and tried to make use of what light was left. Rigged waaay to small so I ended up not doing much out on the water other than practicing tacks... AT LEAST the 7.5 next time. Gotta get better at estimating that sail size. Oh well, it was a lame session so maybe next time. Got excited sitting at my computer seeing some good texture on Willows cam. Headed down and it was solid 10-12kts, rigged up and got on the water and it was dropping, got 4 foiling runs but it was very light. Spent another almost 2 hours thinking it was coming back. Good exercise! Pump practice never a bad thing. As I was packing up in the dark seemed doable again. Ha!

Arrived to almost no wind and everyone drifting in or on the beach . Felt a couple puffs and thought I would go out on bigger gear. Great for the first 15min until wind cranked way up after rain squal came through. Got so overpowered I could barely go up wind headed in to get a smaller wing and wind seemed to die again decided to stick it out with 5M since swell was so nice. Had some super fun one handed rides although still overpowered . Then wind cranked way up again so decided to call it after 2 hours.

I showed up in between gusts with grumbling wing foilers coming out of the water hoping that it wasn't over before it began. Within 15 minutes I saw a little uptick so decided to go out with a 5m to explore. Was immediately regretting not being on a 6m. Within ten. minutes, I was over over powered. Didn't have much time available to decided to forego a downsize. Got thrown around for another 45. One of the most amazing sessions. Big long runs with 3-5 ft swell. Almost cleared a tack up on foil. The 11g43 knots on the sensor had me reconsidering a snorkel session but eyes on the break showed some decent swellies coming through. E wind made launching a challenge but sweet side-off in the break. Some good nugs and licks at the lip, othertimes ridonkously overpowered, poo-stance straight down the line trying not to get run over by the whitewater. Not often I get yarded around on a 7m, but today was one of those days.

Another day, another awesome Willows wingfoil session. The webcam looked good all day but I wasn't able to play until just before suppertime. The wind on the beach seemed weak at about 12kt W so I rigged Cab6. Got in the water about 330 and I was quickly foiling just off the beach and, I thought, I may have oversized. Epic waves to start but fading wind and tough on the 2.5/800. Came in to rig bigger and as soon as I did that it came back. Stuck it out the the 3.5 for a while and it was okay but the waves were smaller. The wind slowly increased, so back to 2.5 and the waves jacked up again. So fun with the 2.5 and loving the 800. It just takes some wind to get going.

Challenging Afternoon. Wind was up and down and seemed to be changing direction every 15 mins... Last 30ish minutes had some of my best swell rides down into the Ross Bay corner, nicely groomed swell... realized I have been foiling around with straight legs, so started bending the ol knees and finding lots more control.
