surprize outing on the sunshine coast. rode a friends vintage 9'6" custom homebuilt board, circa 1988. North 5.5 RAF sail, seat harness, and harness lines with mondo length. Cool retro outing. Feet did battle with with some barnicles and lost. water warmer than here :)
Would have been sweet with my gear! side-shore, total head-on chop.
Friday was a solid 20 knots SE here.
Wicked kite spot a bit further up the road a Sechelt. Huge launch area, steady wind all 3 days we were there, only one person out.
