Best Gordon's sesh in a long time. Wind came up slow, rigged 7.5 but by the time I was on the water I was overpowered. Took two runs and rigged 5.8 kinda flat and it was just about right. Short tiring session on the inside, rested, and Don said it was creamy smooth on the outside past the voodoo chop - it was, big tide line full of junk marked the change. The current slowed and it flattened towards the beach. Made most jibes dry. Sailed planing clew-first for at least 10 secs on a swell face - first time its worked for me. Quicker flip and I would have planed right through.
Saw Pasta do some big jumps up on the skyline to windward.
