:D Decided to Sail from Nanoose to Lantzville. The long run (7 km?) was interrupted be a wierd wind circle at the confluence of winds from Nanoose Bay and the Strait. This had me reaching in circles for an hour or more. The final 'escape' to Lantzville resulted in a wild, way overpowered downwind run. The go board was skipping from crest to crest. When I reached Myron Rd as a landing spot, it was 6.0!!! A quick trip back to Nanoose Bay to get some gear (in a car) gave some so-so sailing with 7.5 as the winds died in the afternoon..... :) :roll:
