Okay, those were Insane conditions!! I'm glad I only rigged the 8.5 all week. It was 18-22kts at the start and built from there. At the top mark it was blowing 25kts....Lots of carnage on the racecourse. I was in less than 20th position after 1 lap and just before the last upwind mark my harness line broke and I couldn't hang on enough to get around the top mark....I can't believe some guys were out on 10.0m sails.....chouch!!!
They called it 'over' when the wind picked up to over 30kts.
Event was fantastic and meeting all the new people(100's) was great!!
Lots new windsurfing friends everywhere. :D :D :D :D :D
