Tuesday - 12m, huge waves. Wind picked up to 25+ and I got off the water early.
Wednesday - 8m flat water at Siletz Bay
The whole Oregon coast is mostly a sand beach with a bit of rock cliff, I was amazed.
The Winds were very gusty compared to what I'm used to here. It gives me a new appreciation for how steady winds are in the Georgia Straight. Experienced a little wave possession aggro from one or two local Florence kiters, but the others were cool. Florence kiters strictly self launch. Only 2 local kiters in Lincoln city and they were super friendly, drew me a map to the bay and launched me etc. No windsurfer sightings all week.
