:D Now that is sweet - a warm westerly in the sun at Dallas in October! I should have gone earlier, but couldn't believe my eyes. Got down the water to see Vadardog totally powered on a 12. By the time I was ready, it dropped. But... it came back! Perfectly smooth, steady if mellow for 45 minutes of 14-15, then 20 minutes of 16/17. I will take that over a blustery SE anyday (being that I am a fair weather kiter). The last wind was from a rain cloud that sprinkled a few drops, threatened, then dissapated along with the wind.
