First Dawn Patrol for a long time. Got there and pulled out the 5.0, then reconsidered as it was easing off - Jl arrived and confirmed - went with the 5.8, which was just enough to beach start and slog through the med-big shorebreak - slog way off before a puff got me planing for the turn, went in and waited for it to build a bit. Went out on another puff and planed out, made my gybe :P planed in, made the gybe but fell in from lack of wind. Drifted down trying to waterstart, gave up and dragged in to beach start. Had another few runs, came in, and of course the wind filled in better once I was off the water. Chilly at about 6 degrees.
