:D drove past gordos at 7am, it was cranking so i went further west looking for waves. jr looked ok so i rigged my 5.3 freak and went out on a borrowed starboard surf89 (thanks Lee!). was perfect for about an 1.5 hrs, jamming wave turns in the bay. nobody showed up! then it nuked for about 15 minutes w/ hail then shut down. i paddled out for a couple on my surfboard then grabbed a burger at shakeys and left. i got suckered by a squall at gordos on the way home, went out again on the 4.7 and JP for maybe 20 min. horrible current and all kinds of wood in the water. overall a fun 2-session morning but quite lonely :cry: i figgered it was blowing in town so nobody drove up the coast what with the price of gas and all! :x
hey anyone who is trying vulcans, read the guy cribb tips off the links page. ive been popping them off chop for 2 years with varied sucess but today i tried a few the cribby way and tail slid for miles. awesome breakthru day for me. :P
