First hour was windy...too windy. Sailed unhooked and sheeted out with house sized swells on the outside. Worked on staying alive. Surprisingly, the downwind runs were relatively easy and the only chance to relax a little. The wind mellowed a bit once the working crowd arrived with some nice swell still, but it was still very gusty.
