Tried the home beach first... was offshore and could tell it was going to end badly if I didn't give up so drove to SP for some cleaner wind. It wasn't really that much cleaner. Not sure that foiling is the best option for conditions like this... the bigger gusts knocked me off balance, the bigger swells made me foil out... Good sized crew of kites and wings. Lots of curious sea lions too.
