That was pure bliss!! Sun setting, almost warm steady, light wind from the south. Such a great session. I camped out at Cattle Pt for an hour prior to heading out. Wind was 5-7 kts then kicked in to 15+ So I rigged the 4.5m but then backed off to 12ish so re-rigged to the 6.0m flyer. Sometimes sail size isn't perfect but tonight it was. I only came in off the water because it was getting dark, water me was picking up and I was by myself and didn't want to have a serious issue as it might not turn out well. I only missed one turn in that hour of foiling as I gybes into a hole. There was a few clumps of kelp and a few large logs I had to keep an eye out for. Long reaches, just cruising and enjoying the scenery and how effortless it seemed to be tonight. Two things that would have made it better would have been others to sail with and another 15 degrees warmer. '? funny story, as I was changing it not my wetsuit, a little girl, maybe 5yrs old with her dad, from across the parking lots says to her dad, 'Why is that man taking his pants off'?. Don't worry, I had my shorts on underneath but it sure sounded funny! Ha! At the end of my session a huge black storm cloud took over the sky another reason I came in as it looked stormy.
