Day two on 725 plus 90L Quatro. WOW. 725 felt amazing in the big outside swell for open face, high speed turns. Best foiling turns I've experienced and fastest I've gone on foil (over 40 km/h). Sadly scraped my foil rig over the reef slogging out. D'oh! Robby Naish was busting huge flat water jumps and Pete Cabrinha was out too. I ventured way out into the deep blue water where the wind swell was largest and intersected a group of downwind foilers. Followed them downwind for a few minutes, everyone hooting and hollering in the big swell. What a freaking amazing experience to get to glide on big ocean energy on foil endlessly. Wish I could have ditched the wing and then had it magically appear when needed. Lit on the 2.5 at times, sometimes underpowered. Tried a Slick 4.0; awesome wing. FUN DAY.
