WOW!! that was an amazing sunset session. Got off work early and sped to CP to get on the water before dark. DOG was saying it was super gusty and saw some whitecaps when I arrived so rigged 4.5m Flyer to get thru the lulls. Perfect choice! On the foil immediately and only came off the foil once! So nice to stay foiling the whole time, makes everything so much easier. I had to pump 2/3 times to get thru some lulls but overall even the lulls were 10kts which kept me going on the Foil. Had to watch for the gusts near Willows beach to gybe in but really lots of wind most of the time. DOG and Junkman were out for a bit but then they disappeared. So I sailed for another 10-15 mins and then the lulls increased frequency so I pulled the chute. and went in. It was still fairly light out but fingers were cold. Really great session!! Staying dry and making all but 1 of my gybes felt good. Can't wait for a little warmer weather though.
