Left work at 4:20pm, arrived at 4:40pm, watched wind for 10 mins, decided it was close so rigged a fat 7.0m Flyer and headed out, it was low tide, schlogged out to sandbar and hit the bar so walked past it and then got on and wind started to get slightly stronger, got past the tide lumps and pumped to foil n what felt like 9-10kts. Super flat water on outside in 10-12 kts so water was like butter. Foiled in and out a few times, so quiet and getting kinda dark, watching the car headlights at the parking lot to know where to head back to. It felt surreal, flying over flat water, quiet and fairly dark but was so nice so did a few more runs then decided it was getting pretty dark so came in. Was a little worried about hitting the sandbar on way back in but stayed foiling high with the 95cm mast and made to 20ft from shore. Packed up in the dark. Completely changed into dry clothes as it was pictured black then. Ha! 1st actual after work session was amaze-balls!!
