Properly windy today. Went off the windward side of Clover and went as far upwind as the Cook St. launch area. At the end of my first tack I came off the board and by the time I got back up I was getting pretty close to the rocks. But it all worked out and with loads of wind I was easily upwind. Came ashore at the Cook Street launch area to have a rest and chat with Dave C. and BA. I decided to head back out as a squall was coming in and the wind got funky. I dragged out a ways and before I started, my kite at zenith surged forward and then fell out of the sky. I recovered it and got going just as the squall really bumped the wind speed up. I made my way back down towards clover and I saw j_dog, going ashore. I figured that that seemed like a good idea as the wind was really strong and more gusty. Landed safely (thanks Justin) and felt like I had an excellent session.
