Joined the Ross Bay foiling club today! Great to see BWD and Tweezer again, and meet a few more of the Island crew, finally got to meet the legend Bobson! Also nice to see Keen out on his new board! It was my first time sailing since I'd injured my foot, almost 2 months ago, and I was nervous about going out. Had a few moments where I could still feel the pain but nothing serious, so super stoked I went out! I can see why you guys love this place, it was super fun! Nice easy launch and fun waves on the outside. It took a bit to get used to things again and the new foil. Finally released the Kraken, which arrived the day I injured my foot and has been sitting in the garage since. The waves out there are really nice to ride, not quite used to the size and steepness, I had a few crashes but quickly caught on and the W730 performed nicely! I just started getting into the grove of things again, and managed to get a few long rides catching multiple waves into the bay when the wind died. Left me wanting more for sure, so I'll be back! Another first for me today was finally using my watch and recorded a GPS track! See you next time!
