A little bit of everything today. Almost everybody made an appearance. 1 other Windfoiler, Mr. Keen. It's always nice to have same, same. BW, Twizz and ULR all showing off their skills. I rigged the 5.2m and it was good for the first 45 mins, but then it kicked up to 25+ kts so rigged the 4.5m then it came down to 15ish so came back for the 5.2m went out and last 10 mins and came back for the 4.5m. Kind of like that most of the day with storm clouds rolling through. I would say's most of the time it was 20-25kts and the 4.5m was the best choice. Having both sails rigged was the way to go. After 84kms and over 3 hours on the water I was tired and thirsty so had a quick RBFC meeting then headed home for ice cold Corona and a warm shower as it was a bit chilly today. Even though it was pretty wavy today it was my best RB session this year. Mostly because I was on my small board and improved my wave riding today. Coming inbound, fully lit going over the waves was pretty exhilarating!! Chopped a bit of the kelp line down today. Over 3 hours today and fell in only once on my first gybe. Improved my hand and neck tan today.
