Fun after work session. Felt decently powered but with intermittent, doubt creating, holes in the wind power. Nonetheless it was overall really good. I decided not to go into the shore break b/c of the wind holes and b/c I didn't want to get worked in the washing machine today. I came in close enough to ride the swells before they broke and that was some fun. A big ass sea lion popped up in front of me, in the middle distance, and hollered loud enough that I fell off my board :-). I didn't see him again and I was glad for that. Self landed and afterwards I had a nice chat with JR who I haven't seen since Gordon's last summer.
