Boundary Bay delivered the goods today! I paid the price with some painful body slams and rinsing though. Super nice waves but the wind didn't really cooperate. When I launched it was 30 knots but shortly went down to 20, thankfully it ramped back up to around 25 but it was on and off most of the day. Was a bit challenging when it was light as the waves were X large for the Bay and I got pounded in the break a few times. One really bad rinsing ripped my camera off the wing, luckily I had the tether on! When the tide dropped it got really challenging with the steep waves and white water everywhere. The wave rides were some of the best I've had out there though, so that made up for all the punishment. Tried to stay out longer and sail with the windsurfing crew but I was exhausted! I'm out of shape.
