Winds were terribly fickle today with Danno going 4mX3 and others going 5m. Me and MtnarG went big 6m, of course. It was great when the winds dropped to 10-15. It was less awesome in the frequent 25kt gusts. Foiled on the edge for a bit, but the winds seemed to be building even bigger so I followed the convoy back to the beach to switch to smaller wings. Danno was going 3m, while I was going 4 or 5. But, by the time I was ready to head in again, the winds stopped its craziness and made my 6mX3 the best choice again. Crazy! I headed out again, I remembered to turn on GPS this time, and had a wonderful session even following Idefix beyond the MTI islets. Came in for lunch and a rest, but planned to head out again. Went out with Idefix, Greg, and Paul - forgot to turn on GPS again. Meh. Got a few nice runs in but the winds were definitely reducing and I went in after about 30 min. Gusty, unpredictable in the bay for much of the day. The sunshine and warm conditions made it a very summery day. First post-ride beers of the season hit the spot.
