Unexpectedly fine Friday foil session where I had RB all to myself. I was finally the best winger on the water. Another bucket list item checked off! Not awesome winds, but enough to foil on Cab6m. NNE coming out of the corner and pushing me out to clover. Gusty, with plenty of holes - reminiscent of Elk Lk with milder winds. Unusual to be going across the bay and not in and out. Wind reduced as my gopro battery was dying and there was much more pumping required to get up near the end.
Shorts, T-Shirt, ballcap foiling was so nice. A great day to forget my helmet. Despite the hot sun, water was still shrinkagely cold while putting in. My goal became to get up on foil and have no crashes for the session. That greed for one-more-run got me in the end and crashed when I leaned in right into a hole. That was a sign to call it a day. I almost went out for a second round but decided to have a look at CP with the wind from the north. Got to CP and noted RuppMutt watching Bobson slog. We discussed B's magnificent optimism and then left him to enjoy his pumpfest.
