Arrived to 15-17kts. Rigged the 5.2m and got out and it was 10-14kts. Foiled out to end of James Island and then came off the foil and slogged for awhile. pumped like a crazy man and got foiling and headed back in to rig bigger. Got back to my ManVan and ahhhhh, locked keys in my ManVan. Asked a nice lady to borrow her phone and called wife to bring extra set of keys. waited in parking lot for 30 mins while the wind increased to 13-15kts. My lovely wife brought the keys so I rigged the 7.0m anyways and headed back out. It was a good think I went big as the wind was in that 10kt range and with the shorter fuse it makes it much tougher to get on the foil even though a lot of pumping was going on. Wind picked up a bit to 10-12kts which is perfect for the 7.0m to foil without much effort. Even though the conditions were what I needed, I had to call it a day as I had a coffee date with my daughter so that was it for today. I'm excited to get my new 115cm fuse hopefully Monday or Tuesday. Missing the afternoon West winds as it's hockey watching /Corona drinking time and recovery from a lot O' Foiling weekend. I definitely need to build up my fitness for this summer as I'm sure there are going to be some 6-8 hour days. Today was not like yesterday, had to wear the 4/3 full suit although not the junk in the water like yesterday at RB. Hope the gang get some good Westerlies this afternoon.
