Maiden wing voyage on a 5.0 wing... wasn't planned but glad I tried it. Managed to stand up, almost foil (then crash) but mostly did a big down winder as I got the hang of flying the wing. Managed to steer into every kelp head possible. Stayed on the inside where the wind was a bit a bit too light but was trying to avoid getting into the lumpier water for my first time out. Would like to try it with a better leash situation and maybe a bigger board to start. Thanks for the wing loner (and push to try it) BWD! Thanks for the tips Tweezer!
