Weirdly frustrating experience. Looked like a bunch of wind at first. Prepared a 4m. Decided it looked weird out there so pumped up a 5m. An experienced sea dog warned me about weird currents that made it really hard to catch anything on the way out. I duly ignore good advice and go out with only a five metre and suffer for my arrogance for two hours. First 45 mins were "workable" but really light wind. And than it just got totally confusing. Wind lines on the water that never materialized in the sail. Swell that was big enough to surf yet no wind to justify it. So really hard do anything but pump unless you can simply just stay up on your foil for duration of ride. That is not me.
