Started on the 106/5.3 combo and managed a few powered runs between slogs. Then took a break and something told me to bring the 96 out. It had indeed picked up and a got a good hour of powered runs. Some surprisingly large swell rolling by out front too. Not bad for a 10 knot model prediction. These Summer ESE forecasts usually deliver more. There is always a glimmer of hope when I see a light ESE for this time of year and it usually hits SP nicely when the sun heats up the pavement in Parksville. Joined by Henk at the end but sadly he was too late for the best wind although he did get a few good runs in.
