3rd try on the wing (Mantis 5.0) but this time on bigger board. Started out a bit light but thanks to a few tips from MF4 I was doing better at staying upwind when not on a foil. Made a few reaches in the light wind near to shore and got back to the beach where I started :). Snagged every kelp head possible. Short break waiting for wind so fill back in and it did. Headed back out and before long I finally got up on foil for first time with a wing. Overall an okay experience and got a bit of a feel for how the board and wing work. No jibing success but I did try a few. Suffered some a kelp related crashes that left me a bit damaged. Nothing major though... but tell that to my nose and ribs. Came in to switch to a sail but once again it died.
