Great day off the Point, better than expected!
Rolled in just after 11 with the tide ebbing and a solid 18 knots. Hit the water and enjoyed the next few hours in surprisingly awesome conditions with solid head to shoulder high waves up off Tower Beach for some great rides and big smiles. Regret not bringing the small surfboard! Kept waiting for the wind to wain but it kept going, had to move the bag/pump/accoutrements above the high tide line. Right back out and it even improved as the tide flooded. Sadly it dropped about 40 mins later just as the goods were setting up with the rapidly flooding tide. Post sesh beers with Sean were a highlight, he had a breakthrough day killing it toe-side on the TT, well powered on his 12m. Sweet!
