Downwinger with Dean and Marty. Immediately got caught in kelp, then put foil through leading edge in shorebreak...ugh. Lucky M had a spare, so rigged 'r up and got out there. Exceptionally good swell at Tugwell and the Otter zone. Gnarly conditions though, got quite gusty as the fog enveloped us. A little spooky inside the ping pong ball. Everyone late home and in trouble. Except Greg, out solo'ing somewhere off Otter in the fog.
