As I was getting into the water I could see some of the wingers sitting on their boards foreshadowing the dying wind. After a loooong body drag through the kelp on the Ross Bay side, I headed straight for Cook St as I could feel the wind softening up. Managed to get about 25mins in before it shut off and it was a mad dash into shore with 4 other kiters. Nice warm sunny day, always nice to get in the water, no complaints, except for all the gnarly kelp.
