Watch screen glitched,no gps. Arrived to an empty beach, rigged big and was chatting with new wing wannabe Alex when MarkA appeared and he began to head out. With only the 2 of us out there, you'd think there would be no concern for collisions, yet I never made 1 successful upwind reach in the blinding glare without taking a major kelp splat! To to top that off, I almost got t-boned by the super stealthy SurfYakGreg, who I vaguely remember saying "see you out there" too then proceeded to forget about him. It was all on me, as I was surfing, downwind then cranked a heelside cutback only to find him bearing down the upwind wave right on top of me. I just squeeked across his super pointy jousting bow while we both screamed in fear and delight of avoided carbon carnage! Sorry! After many kelp crashes, entanglements, and Tweezer fly by gassings, finally called it an evening. Always fun at the local RB!
