Great session. Didnt look all that exciting when I arrived, but wind was consistent and picked up few knots once I hit the water. Nice high tide seemed to make the kelp manageable. Smashed a log at a pretty high speed and luckily avoided any damage to the fancy Armstrong mast. Swell got better as the session went on and it was nice to mix it in between jumps. Really cranked a few heelside tacks, you can lean over into the wind and help get the board on an aggressive angle - feels great, alllmost like a surfing cut back.
